Farewell drinks

We had a little gathering last Friday for neighbours & friends. Farewell drinks. We were originally due to leave on Sunday but as luck would have it, The Girl came down with chicken pox so we had to push our departure date back a week.

Here's a peek at what we served our guests :

Frittata with spinach & mushrooms
Cake with chorizo, pistachio & sundried tomatoes

Soba noodles

Prawns in olive oil & sprinkled with Japanese seasoning

Smoked Salmon

Wonton Cups
(a lot more successful than my last attempt)

Strawberry Punch

Mmmm looks like quite a spread!
Eating finger food is somehow always twice as much fun as sitting down and eating a proper meal :)

Hi Mei,
This looks so good! I check your blog quite regularly and will be sad to not hear any more about life in France. That said I'm very happy for you to be moving back to Singapore and with a new job!!! I will be back in early June and so will Sylvia Lim! We must try and catch up then together with Kwan!
Please do email your new details when you have it! Hope the girl feels better soon!

So good to hear from you. Well my email address at mac still works so you can always reach me there or here at the blog. We must definitely do a reunion of sorts. You still in Shanghai ?

Alcovelet
I think we might do that once we've settled down. Keep you posted.

Grace
Thank you. Even tho I'll be going back to work, I do want to continue cooking & hopefully will still have food posts to show.
